Know the Key Terms and Major Ideas

Section 1 Progressivism, suffrage and labor issues are the main ideas.

Section 2 Roosevelt is the main character and a charismatic leader during the early 1900's.  Understand the ways that Roosevelt mediated between big business and workers.  Be able to describe the conservationist policies that were established with the formation of the national parks.

Section 3 Understand what kind of person and leader Taft was. 

Section 4 Know how American beliefs about the federal government changed
