3)                                 Fascism was the government structure in the Axis countries of Europe in the time leading up to and during WWII.  Democracy was the governmental structure of the United States.  These two forms of government have very different philosophies.  Write an essay comparing the two forms of government.  Be sure that your essay includes definitions of each type of government and compares the significant differences in leadership, transition of power, personal rights and freedoms of citizens.
