The American Revolutionary War
The first war to take place in American history was The Revolutionary War. The Revolutionary War was fought to free America from British taxes, and to become an independent nation. This historic war took place from 1775 to 1783. The country it was fought against was England. Americans were tired of being taxed without any representation in parliament, and they had to do something about it. Thus, this eight year war was started. A few of the major wars that took place were" The Battle of Bunker Hill, The Battle of King Hill, The Battle of Camden, and The Battle of Eutaw Springs.
