THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

The American Revolution lasted from 1776-1782. There was no president during this war. Events that lead up to this war were the French and Indian war, when the British imposed new taxes, the Quartering Act, the Stamp Act, and the Boston Tea Party. The Treaty of Paris is what ended the war.
