American Revolutionary War The Revolutionary War was a very important event in American history because it is when we fight for owner freedom from the Britons. This war started in 1772 and ended in 1786, The resin for this war was the Britons didn't respect the Americans and used them for their own needs and did not caring what they thought. The Americans wanted to be free from the Britons and the only way to get it was to go to war, to start the Revolution. At this point in history Briton was very powerful compared to the Americans, More troops, more fire power, and experienced generals.
