THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

The American Revolution occurred during the years of 1775 through 1783.  During this war, there was no president.  The reason for the start of this war was because of the democratic rights of the Americans whom were under the rule of Great Britain.  One of the reasons that the war ended was because of the battle of Yorktown in May 1781.  After this event, the British Army surrendered.

-  The Battle of Monmouth

-  The Battle of Bunker Hill

-  The Battle of Yorktown
