Self Evaluation of Daily Work Ethic
For a grade in the 90%+ range (the “A” range)--you should be on task all the time. If you finish your assignment work you should find something else to learn from—work for another class or work on our CHS site. You should always be striving to do your best work on assignments—not just trying to finish them. You should never be playing computer games during class time. For a grade in the 80+ range (the “B” range)—you should be on task almost all of the time. Most of the time you completely finish your assignments before you do other work. You might occasionally drift to email—but most of your time should be spend constructively. You should be trying to do your best work. You should not be playing computer games during class time. For a grade in the 70+ range (the “C” range)—you should be on task most of the time. You might have some lapses where you drift to email or the internet before you have finished your work. You should be trying to complete your work—but maybe occasionally you accept completing work that is not your best. You should not be playing computer games during class time. For a grade in the 60+ range (the “D” range)—basically you are working closer to the minimum effort needed. You might often find yourself distracted from completing the work you need to do.
I think I deserve a WORK ETHIC grade of __________% Why do you think you deserve this grade?
A part of your overall grade will be an evaluation of your work ethic. I will take into consideration the grade you put down when determining this evaluation.
