Other Highlights:

1) Seven athletes participating in five events at the 3A State Meet.

• Shot Put - junior Doug Jackson places 2nd in the shot put with a toss of 56' 2.5".

• Triple Jump - senior Nate Beier & senior Mike Corley

• 300m Hurdles - junior Will Miller

• 4 x 100m Relay - sophomore Eric Dick, Will Miller, Nate Beier, Mike Corley, sophomore Josh Trick & freshman Darren Carrido
  

2) SeaKing District Champions: Doug Jackson in the shot put and Nate Beier wins in the triple jump. Overall, four boys and one relay team placed in six events.

3) Kingco League Champions: Doug Jackson in the shot put and Nate Beier in the triple jump. Overall, seven boys and one relay team placed in ten events and two girl relay teams placed.

4)  CHS T&F athletes now number 57, growing from 43 last year and 20 in 1994.
