Individual Highlights:

1) Cedarcrest athletes in nine events at the 3A State Meet. Four athletes make the podium.

Other participants were Lindsay Peterson (Sr.) in the discus, Maile Marshall (Jr.) in the high jump, Ashley Grant (800m), Aaron O'Neal (Jr.) in the javelin and the girls 4 x 400m.


2) No SeaKing District Champions. Boys: Three individuals placed. Girls: Six individuals and two relay teams placed.


3) Kingco League Champions: Lindsay Peterson - Discus and Aaron O'Neal - Javelin. Boys: Nine individuals and one relay team placed. Girls: Eleven individuals and three relay teams placed.

5/25 & 5/26 - Star Track aka State Meet - Four make the podium. Kelly Ramirez (1600m - 4th), James Conrick (1600m - 5th & 3200m - 7th), Erin Kendig (400m - 5th)

5/16 & 5/18 - SeaKing - Lindsay Peterson (discus), Aaron O'Neal (javelin), James Conrick (1600m and 3200m), Kelly Ramirez (1600m), Erin Kendig (400m), Ashley Grant (800m), Maile Marshall (high jump) and Girls 4 x 4 qualify for state.

5/9 & 5/11 - Kingco - Lindsay Peterson wins the discus and Aaron O'Neal wins the javelin. Girls team finishes 5th. Boys team finishes 8th. Erin Kendig and Kelly Ramirez are second in the 400m and 1600m, respectively. Photos by Rachel

5/10 - JV Kingco - Matt Warner wins the 100m and 200m.

5/3 - Skyline - Five school records. Maile Marshall went 5' 2" in the high jump to break her 5' 0" record. James Conrick went 2:00.9 in the 800m to break his 2:01.3 record. The girls 4 x 2 (Jamie Brooks, Sarah Gustat, Abby Kwia t and Erin Kendig) went 1:50.1 to break the old 1:51.7 record. 4/28 - Shoreline - James Conrick places 6th in the 3200m and Aaron O'Neal places 7th in the javelin.

4/28 - Lake Washington - Erin Kending sets school record and places 4th in the 400m.

4/26 - Newport - CHS loses to both Newports. Aaron O'Neal, double winner in the long jump and javelin.

4/21 - Eason Invite - James Conrick sets school record at 1600m in 4:24.8, placing third. Aaron O'Neal places sixth in the javelin.

4/19 - Mt.Si & M.I. - Erin Kendig sets school records in the 200m and 400m. Photos by Rachel Salz

4/14 - Pasco Invite - Aaron O'Neal places 6th in the javelin at 175' 10.

4/5 - Issaquah meet - Issaquah defeats both the boys and girls. Double winners were James Conrick and Kelly Ramirez both winning the 1600m and 3200m. Photos by Rachel Salz

3/31 - Holder Relays - Boys finish 6th and girls finish 8th out of 20 teams. Aaron O'Neal wins the javelin and James Conrick and Kelly Ramirez each won the steeplechase.

3/29 - Sammamish meet - Boys and Girls defeat Sammamish. Katie Maurer breaks her own school record in the pole vault - 9' 0"

3/22 - Interlake meet - Girls defeat Interlake. Interlake defeats the boys.

3/17 - James Conrick breaks his own school record at 800m - 2:01.3 at the Woodinville Jamboree.
